2. Collection and storage of personal data
When you contact us via the contact form or by email, we process the data you provide (name, email, phone number, details about your event and your message) in order to handle your request. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) and (f) GDPR (initiation of a contract and legitimate interest in answering your request).
3. Hosting
This website is hosted by Netlify (Netlify, Inc., 512 2nd Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). When the site is accessed, technically necessary server log data (including IP address, time, page accessed, data volume, browser type) is processed. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the secure and stable operation of the website). Log data is deleted after 30 days at the latest. As Netlify is a provider based in the USA, personal data may be transferred to the USA. Such transfers are based on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses together with additional safeguards implemented by the provider.
4. Contact requests & storage
Data submitted via the contact form is stored in our database (Supabase, hosted in the EU) and delivered to us by email via our mail provider IONOS. The same applies to details you submit through the form at our stand at a wedding fair. If you additionally tick there, or when requesting a brochure, that we may get in touch, you will receive a single reminder email about your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR); you can withdraw this consent at any time without formality. Clicks on our WhatsApp button and phone number are counted with the originating page, time, device type and a short reference code; the IP address and full user agent are not stored. The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required to process your request and no statutory retention obligations prevent deletion.
5. Service providers
The technical operation of this website and the delivery of form notifications are handled by the agency Young Creatives, Hamburg. Processing takes place on our instructions on the basis of a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.
6. Embedded content (Spotify)
Spotify players can be embedded on the playlist page. These only load after an active click. Only then is a connection to Spotify's servers (Spotify AB, Sweden) established and data may be transmitted to Spotify. Unlisted gallery pages may additionally embed a photo booth library provided by fotoshare.co. It is likewise only loaded after an active click, after which data is transmitted to fotoshare.co. These pages are reachable only via a link sent directly to you and are excluded from search engines.
7. Consent, statistics and marketing
Analytics and marketing services are only loaded after your explicit consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 25(1) TDDDG). Without consent, no Google services run, no visitor statistics are collected and no advertising identifiers are stored. If you consent, Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics and Google Ads are used (Google Ireland Limited, Dublin); data may be transferred to Google, including to the USA. Advertising click identifiers (gclid, gbraid or wbraid) and UTM campaign parameters are then stored in local storage for up to 90 days and linked to an enquiry or WhatsApp click. When an enquiry is confirmed as qualified or booked, the click identifier and, only with the appropriate consent, the normalised phone number or email address in SHA-256-hashed form may be sent to Google Ads (Enhanced Conversions for Leads). This is used to measure which ads generate genuine enquiries. You can change or withdraw your decision via “Cookie settings” in the footer. The consent decision is stored as “djkido_consent_v1” and ad attribution as “djkido_attribution_v1”; both can be deleted in your browser settings. Fonts are served from our own server.
8. Your rights
With regard to your personal data, you have the following rights towards us: the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The supervisory authority responsible for us is the Hamburg Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.
